Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain high-quality software aligned with program and project objectives.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the development team to deliver complex features end to end.
- Contribute to containerized, distributed microservice architectures, including development, deployment, and testing.
Required Skills & Experience
- This position requires an active Interim DoD Secret Clearance. Clearance required: Active DoD Secret. Due to the clearance requirement, U.S. Citizenship is required. Candidate must also participate in a background screen.
- 5+ years of professional hands-on experience as a Software Engineer using C++.
- Proficient in Unreal Engine, including language features and best practices.
- Professional experience working in Linux environments.
- Ability to work onsite in Boulder, CO 5 days per week.
- Strong problem-solving, collaboration, communication and attention to detail skills.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Familiarity with other programming languages such as Python or Javascript/Typescript
- Experience with or interest in people management (up to 5 direct reports).
- Experience with Agile software development methodology and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with Gitlab, Gitlab Runner, Docker, Kubernetes and Helm Charts.
- Domain experience with remote sensing systems or ground architectures, especially experience with OPIR sensor processing.
- Experience working on “badge-less” engineering teams on a large National security contract.

The proposed salary for this position is: $110,000—$140,000 USD
