Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain applications and modules within the Ellucian Banner system.

Implement integrations between Banner and other institutional systems (ERP, CRM, LMS, etc.).

Optimize business processes through customizations and extensions in Banner.

Create and maintain PL/SQL scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and packages to support critical functionalities in Oracle.
- Experience with integration and frameworks (Ethos, API's).

Collaborate with functional and IT teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.

Conduct impact analysis and unit testing prior to production deployments.

Document configurations, developments, and workflows to ensure traceability.

Monitor application performance and propose efficiency improvements.
-
Provide advanced-level support for Banner-related incidents.

Lead projects involving system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

4 to 6 years of experience working with Ellucian Banner in higher education or institutional environments.

Advanced proficiency in Oracle PL/SQL and Oracle Database Administration.

Experience with Java, Groovy, and REST/SOAP APIs for system integrations.

Knowledge of Ellucian Ethos and modern integration tools.

Experience with Unix/Linux scripting and server administration.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for complex issues.

Ability to lead technical projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.

Preferred: experience with Cloud deployments (AWS, Azure) and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Advanced English proficiency skills (C1) required.
