We at Coforge are hiring Mid Data Engineer (#006fu00000QeELXAA3-11) with the following skill set.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines integrating data from APIs, databases, event logs, and AI development platforms into Snowflake.

• Develop and optimize Snowflake data models and MongoDB structures, ensuring performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

• Implement data quality checks, observability, lineage tracking, monitoring, and security controls across data pipelines and databases.

• Automate deployments through CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code while collaborating with analysts, BI developers, and product teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering.

• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake architecture, including virtual warehouses, Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, Time Travel, and performance optimization.

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with MongoDB, including data modeling, indexing, aggregation pipelines, and performance tuning.

• Advanced SQL and Python skills, including experience with data manipulation and scripting.

• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT design patterns, batch and incremental loads, CDC, error handling, and retries.

• Experience with dbt and data integration tools such as Airflow, Informatica, Talend, or Fivetran.

• Knowledge of dimensional modeling, data warehousing, data lakes/lakehouses, governance, metadata, and lineage.

• Experience with pipeline monitoring, observability, alerting, and production incident management.

• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git, infrastructure-as-code, and enterprise security controls such as RBAC, masking, and encryption.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Snowflake Snowpark or Cortex and SnowPro certification.

• MongoDB or Snowflake certifications.

• Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, SonarQube, GitHub/GitLab, and Jira.

• Knowledge of DORA metrics, DevOps practices, and engineering performance metrics.

• Exposure to AI/ML data preparation or AI-assistant usage analytics.

• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.
