The Learning Production Specialist plays a key role in delivering high-quality virtual learning experiences by serving as the technical producer for programs hosted through platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Conferences.io. This position ensures each session is engaging, technically sound, and user-friendly by managing production elements such as announcements, polls, presentation slides, chat monitoring, breakout rooms, Q&A support, and real-time attendee troubleshooting. The role also provides expertise on virtual training formats and settings, helping determine the most effective setup for each learning experience.
In addition to production support, the Learning Production Specialist coordinates the operational details that contribute to successful program delivery. Responsibilities include scheduling and setting up virtual sessions, managing the Zoom calendar, conducting dry runs and technical checks with instructors and Learning Experience Designers, reviewing course materials for production readiness, and supporting attendance, materials, and program updates within learning management systems such as LCvista or Workday. The role collaborates closely with Learning Coordinators and Learning Experience Designers to support logistics, learner communications, course coordination, CPE compliance, and adherence to NASBA requirements and internal quality guidelines.
